Trip Overview

Everest Gokyo – Trek is one of the most venturesome tour packages taking place in the Khumbu region. The entire trail covers the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas in the first place likewise in the second see the impressive Holy Lakes of Gokyo.

How Difficult Is Gokyo Lake Trek?

Talking about the difficulty in Everest Gokyo Lake Trek, then it is moderately difficult. That is to say neither too easy nor too difficult. You have to be aware of good shape and better stamina as you will have to walk 5/6 hrs on a daily basis excluding the acclimatization day. However, the best view comes right after overcoming some difficulties.

You will be staying at elevations higher than 3,500m so as a result, the altitude might create a few problems. Likewise, as you proceed higher than 5,000m there is a probability of altitude sickness as well due to less air pressure and oxygen level.
